Un-Shelved : An Altered Book Project is a community project organized by the
Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center [BBAC],
the Bloomfield Township Public Library [BTPL],
and graduate students from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
What is an altered book?
An altered book can be any book, old or new,
that has been recycled by creative means into
a work of art.
Participation
Un-Shelved is open to the community for ages 16
and above. Accepted entries will be exhibited at
