The Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library will be holding their BIG book sale on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10. Sale hours are 9:30am – 3:30pm on Saturday and 12noon –4:30pm on Sunday. The first hour on Saturday is for Friends members only. The Sunday sale will be an Inventory Close-Out Sale. All adult books will be 25cents and children’s books will only be 10cents each! Come find a treasured book or favorite movie!

The Bloomfield Township Public Library needs your pictures
In honor of its 50th anniversary, the Bloomfield Township Public Library is collecting photographs taken at the library over the years. These images will be used in the year-long anniversary celebration at the library, on the library’s website and social media pages, and in promotional pieces. If you have any pictures you would like to contribute, please email these to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop them off at the Library’s Welcome Desk to the attention of Robin Lang. You will need to fill out a release form before the Library can use your photos. All photographs will be returned.

Free Homework Help at the Library
Volunteer high school students are on hand several week day afternoons to assist students in grades 5 through 12 with their homework. Check the library calendar for dates and times and to see when a coach in your requested subject area will be available. High school student volunteers in good academic standing are needed to assist middle and high school students with their homework at the Library on weekday afternoons. MOVERS AND SHAKERS starts on Tuesday, November 5 at 10a.m. For older toddlers and early preschoolers, ages 2 – 3 years, ready for “interactive” story time fun, but not quite ready to be on their own yet and accompanied by their special grown-up. This is a 6-week session. Registration begins October 14.
JUST US KIDS starts on Thursday, November 7 at 10a.m. Children, ages 3 – 6 years, can come to this story time on their own as they become independent enough to participate without a parent or caregiver. Our preschool story time is filled with great stories, lively movement, music and more. This will be a 6-week session. Registration begins October 14.
Itsy Bitsy Yoga Junior yogis, ages 2 – 5 years, and their favorite adult are invited to join us starting Monday, November 4 at 10a.m. This series, inclusive of children with special needs, will include poses, yoga breathing, and visualizations. Classes are taught by Belightful Yoga instructors (www.belightfulyoga.com). It is a 4-week session. Registration begins October 7.
