Rent DVDs at the Library!
For your convenience, we’ve created a new collection of rental DVDs. Come in and grab a new movie - first come, first served!
The first day is free! After the first day, rates are:
· $1 per day for days 2 – 6 for Bloomfield Township residents.
· $2 per day for days 2 – 6 for those who live outside of Bloomfield Township.
· $2 per day after 7 days for all
Rental fees may be paid at the Circulation Desk upon return or pay online at www.btpl.org via your Library Account. Please return all rental movies directly to Bloomfield Township Public Library.

Drop-in Help Downloading Library eBooks
Did you know the Library has thousands of free ebooks you can download on your new tablet? Come to one of our daytime drop-in sessions on January 4, January 7, or January 18 between 2 and 4p.m. each day, or attend the evening classes offered on January 14 and February 25 from 7 - 8:30p.m. Be sure to bring any account names and passwords you might use, as well as your library card. You should be able to use your device/tablet before coming. But you don’t have to wait – pick up a sheet on downloading the necessary apps at the Library any time.
MATH PUZZLERS: Everyday Math
X + Y = Z? Stop by the Library on Thursday, February 7th from 6 - 7p.m., to see how all that math you’re learning applies to your everyday life. Registration is required – open to area student’s grades 7 -12.
EVERYONE LOVES CHOCOLATE!
Chocoholics everywhere are invited to join us on Saturday, February 9 for our third annual day of celebration of everyone’s favorite treat. During this all day event, see how to create your own culinary masterpieces, enjoy quizzes and chocolate tastings, and much more throughout the library. Enter the raffle to win our wonderful chocolate basket of treats. Call, check online, or come in for more information beginning January 2.

CELEBRATE NATIONAL BIRD FEEDING MONTH
On Thursday, February 7 from 4:30 - 6p.m., help make winter easier for your backyard birds. Create your own bird feeders and have fun with other feathery activities too. All ages are welcome.
A CELEBRATION OF CHOCOLATE
We will be showing Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,onSaturday, February 9 at 11a.m. Gene Wilder stars in this original 1971 classic film based on the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl. Running time: 100 minutes.

The Library continues to offer a variety of hands-on computer classes, such as Introduction to Microsoft Word and Introduction to Social Networking.
