Going on Vacation?
Renew your Library materials online or by telephone anytime! To renew online, visit the library website at www.btpl.org and click on "My Account". Simply type in your name and library card number and a list of all the items you have borrowed from the library will be shown. Check the items you wish to renew and follow the prompts. To renew by telephone, call (248) 593-4919 and enter your library card number and the barcode numbers from any items you want to renew. Rental books, magazines and items that have been requested by another patron cannot be renewed.
Taking a special trip this summer? The Library's extensive collection of travel materials awaits you. More than just the typical travel guides, the Library also offers travel documentaries and downloadable ebooks. Consider borrowing an audiobook to keep you company on your travels too.

AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' – MUSIC FROM THE 30’s AND 40’s with Paul Vornhagen Swing Band

LIBRARY BOOK GROUPS
We offer a variety of library-sponsored book groups to residents of Bloomfield Township. Every August, registration will be open to Township residents only until one week before the first fall meeting, after which time others may join if there is room. Residents can register online, at the Adult Services Desk, or by calling 248-642-5800, ext. 171. A current Bloomfield Township library card is required – please have it available if you call or come in. Contact Adult Services for a list of book clubs and registration dates.

Can you dream it?
Author Kevin Kammeraad is coming to the library! On Wednesday, August 8 at 2p.m., his completely interactive show is packed with spontaneous ideas from the audience. Each performance is a new creative adventure featuring puppetry, music and movement! Drop in to dream big. All ages welcome.

Get the scoop! Celebrate summer on Friday, August 10 from 2-4p.m., on the youth terrace with a sweet treat from us! (Held indoors in case of inclement weather.) All ages welcome.
What’s Your Dream?
Hopefully through our Dream Big: Read! Summer Reading Program, you learned you can be anything you want to be! Join us as we close out the summer with a Bubble Bonanza with the Bubbleman. Finally, don’t forget to pick up your new book at the annual Summer Reading Book Bash after accomplishing your personal reading goal.
This month the Library is offering a variety of hands-on computer classes such as Computer Basics 2 and Introduction to Social Networking.
