If you have a new Windows 8 computer, there is a beautiful new OverDrive Media Console for Windows 8. Here are a few points you should know:
- The new OverDrive Media Console for Windows 8 (OMC) allows downloading of MP3 audiobooks and EPUB eBooks.
- If you wish to download OverDrive WMA audiobooks you must download the classic OverDrive Media Console desktop version.
- Both OMCs can exist on the same computer.
- Windows RT (one version of Windows 8) cannot run legacy apps such as classic OverDrive Media Console desktop. Use the Windows 8 version of OMC.
