USED BOOK AND MEDIA DONATIONS

NEW DONATIONS RECEIVING ROOM

With the opening of the parking lot, April 7, 2008, the new Donations Receiving Room also opened. This is located on the west side of the library next to the delivery entrance. Five-minute parking is permitted in the short drive next to the staff and delivery entrance, before the black gates. The room is not staffed, but it is open these hours:
Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m.

Small single-item donations can be received at the Reception desk inside the library during the library's open hours; donations of more than a couple items should be brought to the Donations Receiving Room.

The Friends will accept
Books and media in excellent to good condition.

The Friends cannot accept:
Magazines
Records
Condensed Books
Encyclopedias
Self-taped videos, audios
Sets, such as Time-Life or American Heritage

Donated items in good condition may be considered for the library's collection, sold in the self-serve shop or at the Super second Saturday Sales, or given to other organizations for their use.

Donations are acknowledged. Please self-address the post cards in the donation room with the number and types of items donated and deposit it in the Donations Receiving Room box or, if donating at the Reception desk, with the Receptionist.
